    How to restore an old house?


    Step 1:

    Collecting documentation to start project:


    • List of real estate (from the Cadastre)
    • Copy of the plan (from the Cadastre)
    • Excerpt from the DUP (Civil Bureau - Secretariat for Urbanism)
    • Conservation conditions (Directorate for the Protection of Cultural Heritage)
    • Urban-technical conditions (civil bureau - Secretariat for Urbanism)
    * approximate time limit: 30 - 60 days
    Step 2:

    Preparation of project documentation:


    • Geodetic survey
    • Project of existing state
    • Conservation project
    * approximate time limit: 2 - 6 months
    Step 3:

    Submission of documentation for building permit


    • Conservation project (in 3 printed copies and 7 CDs)
    • Revision of the project (for residential buildings over 500 m2 and business buildings)
    • Fire study (with audit and consent of the Ministry)
    • Consent to the project of the Directorate for the Protection of Cultural Heritage
    Step 4:

    Required payments to obtain a building permit


    • Consent of Water Supply and Sewerage Public Company
    • Fee for Regional water supply
    • Fee for communal equipment (Directorate for construction and arrangement of the city of Kotor)
    * approximate time limit: 15 - 30 days
    Step 5:

    ISSUANCE OF BUILDING PERMIT!


    * Approximate time limit from submission of documentation to obtaining a permit: 30 - 60 days
